Jewelry Care

In order to protect your jewelry when not worn, we suggest placing it in its original packaging or an appropriate box or pouch. It is best to regularly examine your jewelry in order to ensure that the prongs and settings are secure and clasps and findings are well adjusted.
Avoid exposing your jewelry to the following products and environments:
  • Bleach
  • Chlorine (avoid swimming pools, hot tubs and other bodies of water containing chlorine)
  • Perfumes and other cosmetic products
  • Ultrasonic cleaning
  • Extreme temperatures
  • Household cleaning products
Exposure to these products and environments can damage your jewelry and in some cases the effects can be permanent.
Avoid contact with abrasive surfaces. It is also best to  avoid the potential for shocks and collisions between your jewelry and hard surface areas. Even a diamond can be damaged when hit at a certain angle.
When in doubt, it is best to protect your jewelry in an adequate manner or remove it and store it securely for the duration of the activity.
